Women won’t see economic equality for 257 years, unless we change the future.
According to the World Economic Forum, closing the economic gap between women and men will take 257 years.
As the 5th-largest financial institution in America, PNC Bank has the power to change it; therefore, closing the economic gap is our responsibility. That’s why we created Project 257. Project 257 is a financial accelerator that expands access to credit to women-owned businesses, financially supports a 0% loan pool for women and minority entrepreneurs, and actively monitors the policies we use to evaluate creditworthiness, so we eliminate gender bias from our practices. This book serves as a tool to create awareness, spread the spirit of this project and to be shared amongst multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
