A Visual Directory of Edge of Chaos is an ambiguous journey exploring the concept of the “Edge of Chaos” through various perspectives and across different disciplines.

The Edge of Chaos is defined as a transitional space between order and disorder, hypothesised to exist within a wide range of systems. Author and designer Joyce Shi takes a particular interest in the visual forms through which this idea manifests, constructing a narrative grounded in research and theory, but guided by design, through a curated library of graphs, diagrams, and representations of the universal idea.
