A branding identity and banner design for art studio "Astro Dice".
The client says that the brand name comes from the saying "God does not
play dice with the Universe", which was Einstein's thoughts on quantum
mechanics back then. While the brand itself serves a function about art
rather than science. Hence I used a scientific and streamlining visual
representation with some distortion to build an identity that is based
on a die. The die can be read as a combination of a and d, but also an
open box that responds to the possibilities of innovations. It can also
be combined and built into a pattern. The Chinese and English part are
also in similar style that responds to the linear quality of the die.
